Some love stories begin long before the wedding day. For Anna and Chad, it was high school sweethearts who found their way back to each other at TCU — and a place they both loved before they even loved each other: Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Anna grew up spending weekends at her grandparents’ home in Carmel. Chad has been dreaming of Pebble Beach since he first picked up a golf club. So when he got down on one knee at the first tee box at Spanish Bay (umbrellas in hand, their families waiting inside to surprise them) it could not have been more perfect.
Their wedding day felt like the natural culmination of all of it. Vows exchanged inside the soaring, sacred walls of the Carmel Mission Basilica, followed by an evening at the Beach and Tennis Club, where the Pacific stretched endlessly beyond floor-to-ceiling windows and the golden light of a September coast did what only it can do.
Anna was luminous in her Galia Lahav gown — intricate floral lace, long sleeves, unforgettable — and Chad’s reaction at their first look said more than words ever could. The stationery suite we designed for their day carried those same threads throughout: watercolor illustrations of the Mission and Pebble Beach, a sage green palette, and calligraphy that felt as timeless as the place they both call home.
